Ahahahahaha, ignorant people are ignorant.

I don’t see any of my girls or monsters in my inspiration page, and most of the posts in my inspiration tagged section are photographs, not painted pictures. Most of my inspiration posts are there more for composition, form, and color scheme ideas, if anything. I’m self taught, and the only real way I can learn is by observing and trying to understand how artists who I admire, execute their ideas.

And if you really want to go that far, then I think you should tell Egon Schiele, who was considered to be a predecessor of Gustav Klimt, to stop being so inspired by his work, thus discrediting one of the greatest figurative painters in history.
And then, after you have probably went back in time to tell them that with an unsigned note via snail mail because thats all that the tiny balls you have allow you to do, tell anyone who has ever drawn superhero comics after Stan Lee, or Jack Kirby to go screw themselves because the way they draw superhero masks is basically a cheap knock off; maybe even try to tell that to Roy Lichtenstein, who’s a distinguished pop artist and uses the comic book aesthetic in his work.

And then, maybe, after you’ve done all that, ask yourself why you’re sending naive anonymous messages to fledgling artists, instead of  developing your own art narrative and style. But wait! Maybe it’s because you’re too insecure with your own shit that the only way you can feel better about yourself is to put other people down.
